I heard an interview on NPR with an educator in rural Kenya, I think. It was a breakdown-freakout-deadline-due-procrastinate-anyway-and-end-up-doing-nothing day. I regret not paying closer attention, but I will never forget what she said when the NPR reporter asked her how she did all she did with what little she had to do it with. "Every action I take, every decision I make, must serve the mission." She was this bad-ass traveling educator who went from community to community, empowering voices and spreading access.

It was pretty awesome working with the kids on writing their stories after they participated in the Healthy Me workshop and symposium.
